We stumbled upon Chalupas during our vacation and were so glad we did! Authentic food with great taste and its affordable. We even came back for one last meal before we left Kauai. Highly reccomend!

Greatest Taco I ever had! Their tortillas are very good and the Carnitas tacos is a must try! I highly recommend it.

Portions were small and prices were high! Spicy garlic shrimp was great, but had lots of garlic on it! If your wanting to feed your family on a budget this is not the place!

Great food. The beef burrito is delicious. Al of Mexican food places overload it with cumin and it just ruins it. This place is delicious. The salsa is super good too. Best Mexican food place on island.

Went yesterday and ordered a veggie burrito and my wife ordered the fish burrito. The veggie burrito was excellent but the fish burrito tasted too fishy l had to take the fish out to eat it. The gal at the register was pleasant.

My wife and I we're out on a west-side adventure and we needed so quick eats as we had to catch an ATV tour. Chalupa's was not just handy, but it turned out to be really good! Quick FRIENDLY service and lots to choose from. I am going to come back to this spot to re-visit Chalupa's with my clients as there are also other great food choices right next door too.

I was not expecting to have found my favorite taco experience at Chalupa's Taco in Koloa on my family's last day of vacation. On a whim I ordered the fish tacos and I was completely blown away. The fish was very tender, flaky, and generous and was perhaps the best fish I had while on the Kauai island. The aoili sauce provided rounded out the taco and made for a very delicious lunch. As an aside, everyone who ordered here in our group said it was the "wettest" Mexican food they have ever had, so make sure to grab plenty of napkins!

The Big Kahuna taco with beef and Shrimp tacos were both well above expectations. We will come back again soon.

Pretty watered down Mexican food, no chilaquiles, there is a way better place down the street called da crack. Very good food.

Went here for the 4.9/5 star reviews for lunch. Both of us had fish tacos, which were OK at best. Just wanted to add an honest review to balance things out.

The worst service in Kauai. When we requested our food to go, the person behind the counter started arguing about it and became hostile. He was rude from the start and I regret leaving tip. There are lots of other food trucks in the area with god service and better quality food.

Fantastic blackened Fish Tacos Mexican Style - big portions of fish, delicious fresh ingredients, warm corn tortillas ... just thinking about it makes my mouth water ! Me gusto mucho !! Better portions and flavors than the Al Pastor in Kapa'a !! Trust me, I'm a foodie !

Had the beef Barbacoa tacos and thought they were exceptional. Definitely give this place a try.

For Kauai, this place is fantastic! We had the chicken burrito and beef taco salad which were made fresh (including the taco shell) and were well seasoned (not too much salt and wonderful spices). Way better flavour than Da Crack. He's not on the main street but definitely worth the visit. There's a decent patio set outside for eating and ample parking.

Fish tacos were fresh but kinda got soggy from the pico. Quesodilla was super cheesy . The whole meal was not bad but also not super great to be honest. Chips were probably my favorite part

AMAZING!! We have eaten here twice, the food is fantastic. The enchiladas are perfectly seasoned with generous portions, and my husband loves the chipotle burrito. So far it is our favorite Mexican food on Kauai. Quick, pleasant service.

Superb fish tacos in an open outdoor island atmosphere. Parking is shared with a few other food trucks and shaded seating is a bit limited but definitely worth it. Grab a guava Jarritos to cool off while you keep an eye out for hungry island roosters.

This guy is the real deal from Mexico he makes awesome !!! Tacos and enchiladas he is a hard worker and at the end of the day is a really nice guy. Cost of living in hawaii is a bit higher so are the price of tacos but they are worth it !!!

We were looking for a place open at 10:30AM, this place was the only truck open. The shrimp tacos were delightful. Quesadilla, Santa Fe salad were also all winners.
